Joanne – Artistic Director and Colorist
Joanne’s career started in 1980. Throughout the years, she has worked with many great stylists and has seen many trends in hair. When she moved to Texas in 1989, the spiral perm was on the way out and Joanne realized that clients wanted to look like the stars. It wasn’t about the cuts as much as the many uses of colors. While in Texas, she worked as an educator with Sebastian. Over the years, Joanne found that the key to client satisfaction was education: hair shows, seminars, hands-on classes, anything to become the best colorist possible. In 1999, she and George returned to the Poconos where they continued their careers before opening the studio.
She believes in personalizing each client’s cut and color to suit the individual hair type, facial shape, lifestyle and desire. She likes to initiate changes to keep each client looking forward to the next visit.
